A video of my Challenger...
« on: January 23, 2007 - 09:50:41 PM »
I just got my Challenger back up and running after it just sitting there for 2 1/2 months... I took this video on my cell phone so sorry for the bad quality... and as for revving up the engine I let it warm up for about a half hour and it was so loud in my garage with just the straight pipes. :working:

She still has some kinks I have to work out... Backfiring out the carb after getting up past 3k rpm. I just needed to get it running so I could drive it to this engine shop like 5 minutes from my house. But otherwise healthy as can be for not having a rebuild on it yet. :clapping:

Isn't it a great feeling when you actually get your car running after waiting so long. It makes it so much sweeter. Glad to see you are making good progress.

Getting one fired up really makes one want to get everything done fast and get it on the road.  Like mine though. , still a lot of work to do.

I had my car on the road during the last few months of my senior year. Only because I mad a promise that it would be on the road and driivng then. I never made a promise that it would be painted and fully restored. But I managed to keep it from breaking down. Then when the summer heat really started to come in the car was parked right back in the garage because the ac doesnt work.
