Just wondering if you have any pics of your build yet. I don't have the talent to do nice model cars but I do like to see them.

OK, I was holding out for a digital cam but a webcam will have to do for now that Im stranded out here in AZ with out all the comforts of home LOL!!!  You can make out most of the detail with out all the detail if that makes any sence?  You cant read the dodge on the tail pannel or the wording on the tires but they are there in real life LOL!!!  All these peices that are pictured with the acception of the body are hand painted.  I hope you guys like them.

Looking good!  I have a good collection of models I need to build, have some already built needing repairs, got some damage when they were moved.  Been working on a 71 Duster for a few years now in spare time, I'll be glad to finish it and move on to the Chargers, Daytona, Challengers, Cuda and Road Runner.  Hell, I may have enough cool models to last the rest of my life!  I spend most of the time working on the real cars I have, gotta get the Challenger done soon, I sure don't want to sell her but I'll get another one someday, a 70 or 71 I hope!  I'm thankful for all this, sure will be good when I can restore my 70 Cuda, she looks rough, but she is mean!  I love her, had her 17 years now, she's fun and special to me I have to keep her!  Good work and detail, keep up the good work.

Wow!  Looks great!   :2thumbs:

Hoe did you do the detail on the gauges?  Did you use bare metal foil or just paint and lots of patience?  Looks super!

Every thing is done with paint.  I use tooth picks.  If need really fine points I shave the tooth pick points down with a razor, the letters on the tires were the most complicated as the white testors paint isnt the most friendly of mixtures and tends to not completly dry for weeks LOL!!!  It looks sunny today I might got put a coat of paint on the body.    :woohoo:

I built one years ago with brake lines , gas lines, shocks , wires etc took me months to build it , won a contest with it & simply have not found the motivation to tie up months building another one since , now I just build the real ones

That is exactly how this one is going to end up!  As detailed as I can get it!  I still have to make a trip to wal-mart for the extra wire.  I got all the extra heater hoses, I just need the fuel lines, brake lines and electrical lines ect.  You should post a pic of tha car Chryco!
