Welcome to the site. Looks like a nice start and should be a fine ride when you get it done.

Hey Welcome!  I'm in oakland building up a 73 myself.  you should post your trim tag if you have it.  If the car originally came with a sunroof, I'd definitely try to keep it. it was a factory option, and a very rare one.

Here is a picture of a factory sunroof in a Charger, the e-bodys were very similar. That is not factory,just a pop-up aftermarket. Sorry for the bad picture it is all I have.

Check your SPD;

"811 - Build Date August 11, 1969"

The 8 is a B for November, so it is November 11th.  ;)

Welcome to the site! :wave:  It looks like you definitely have your work cut out for you, but as already stated it's great to know you're going to tackle this project and not just strip it for parts.  If you want some detailed photos of a roof re-skinning, check out the "The Body Shop" section of this site and you should be able to find DMZ73's detailed photos of the procedure. :2thumbs:

I guess it was under "Member's Restoration"...Here's the link: http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=25868.0

After my brother graduated high school my parents moved up to Redding (because my dad grew up in Redding) and I moved with them because I am now going to Chico State. I use to be a member of Wine Country Mopars and love going to their event. Maybe I will see you there this year.

I feel bad, I have not done anything to the car yet...

I need to order all the sheetmetal I need, I think thats best before I cut anything, right?

Does anyone know of a roof that is somewhat close or in CA? I could not find anyone that sells them new.
