There will be a big group of us from protouring and musclerides running together. Maybe everyone can join up with us. We run about 70-80 all day every day, so no 4.56 gears and three speeds, but we have a good time.

Oh, and no worries, we are all drivers, no show stuff from us. Driving them if much more fun that showing them. We might spit shine them at the stops, but we are about driving them and driving them hard. Last year we had as many as thirty cars running together. Here is a link to some of the fun we had.

Those guys had a bunch of mechanical issues last year, hopefully they can get all the bugs straightened out this year. One thing for sure, they run the crap out of their stuff too. They took Bob's Cuda to Orlando last year with them. I was there when they were trying to get oil pressure issues cured on the red convert.

YES!  80mph put my tach at about 2300 rpm and it wants more.  I put in the fuel injection and overdrive in just for the PT.   Last year, I pulled up behind a couple of black Magnums with the big Power tour banner in the back window. I drove fast with them for about 20 miles then they decided to see if they could lose me.        It didn't happen.

The Year One Charger Daytona way having charging issues. I was drawing him a wiring diagram to put in a new dual field alternator but he ran out of time.  He was boiling batteries with the old voltage regulator setup.  You can't throw your car together at the last minute then expect it to run 5000 miles without incidents. He was only trying to drive the last leg and had to trailer it that day too.

Maybe, since we will be pulling a small trailer this year, we plan on staying at some campsites instead of hotels to save some money.  Here is the pic of the trailer.

My car looked like yours till I put the stripes on it.  I used to run a T/A hood too.

I thought about it, but we came across the R/T hood first and decided to paint it black.  I am not big on the stripes, but I have always thought about getting a T/A hood.  It is just hard to take off a hood that already has a great paint job.
