The rain finally stopped around 5 PM. So the wife and I headed down to Racine just to check it out. We got there about 7. I think we saw just as many cars goin west on Hwy 20 to get to the interstate as we did in downtown Racine. All but one of the vendor trailers had pulled out already. But there were still some very nice rides there. We pulled around the baracades and just pulled in. Just parked Nikki in the midst of it all. It really had to SUK being there in the rain all day! But we had a good time checking out the remaining rides and showin' off ours too!  :grinyes:

Well...my cars not there anymore.  It was running pretty hot (just below the H on the gauge) So my dad brought it home to troubleshoot the problem before we got a toasty 440 :dunno:  Only at highway speeds does it get hot, belts are tight, radiator is same temp throughout and thermostat is opening at 160 degrees.  Not leaking any anti-freeze sooo...Only thing I can think of is wrong water pump?

It's your radiator if you don't have any burnt smelling anti freeze.   The radiator is clogged. Have it rodded out or have a new 3 core put in it.

I spent all day traveling on the tour with Herb McCandless, his wife, and John and Spyder.  We were all at my same hotel 2 days in a row, so we drove together, stopped for lunch, then hit the stadium for Tuesday's stop.   No time for picks, due to having too much fun on the tour.

I used to buy parts from him since 1983.  He is still a Mopar GOD.  I'll grab a pic if we caravan on Thursday to Memphis, TN.

Check out the Evansville and Memphis updates for a rear axle repair and a late night engine swap on Charlies car at the Chrysler dealer in Evansville after the Mopar cruise night.  He gets an Indy Stroker.

Shelbydog,
I left a business card on your windshield in Evansville. I saw your car at almost every stop but never saw anyone around the car. Was someone on this board following a blue Superbird toward Memphis?
I saw a black cuda next to Shelbydogg a couple times too, and figure that was someone here's car.
I just got home, what a great week, with Beale St. being my favorite. Maybe because I was parked on Beale st...lol

Sorry I missed you Bill.  I saw the business card during one of the stops and thought it was put on everyone's car just like a car show flyer, so I didn't take a close look at it.    Maybe I'll see you next year at the Little Rock to Madison Wisconsin Power Tour.

That black 71 Cuda belonged to John from Texas.  He was traveling in the convoy with Herb McCandless. I happened to stay at the same hotel, so we drove together.

I missed the Beale street cruise due to the Memphis Mopar Club's Bar-b-que.

Since I'm building a Pace car after I finish my Cuda.  I took this Pic of the one from Kentucky.  I'm going to meet up with them at the Mopar Nats and the Woodward Cruise.

Hey everyone,
The Power Tour was great this year.  I got to meet fishn4cuda, shelbydogg, and 71340RT. All of you are really nice and cannot wait to meet you again.  :2thumbs:

My father's Dart did real well except we broke a mount on the sway bar, and fishn4cuda took about 30 minutes out of his busy day to make a part for us, and he would not take any money for it.  Thank you very, very much.  :2thumbs:

The only other problem we had with the Dart was the tranmkission not letting us shift out of 4th, but that happened about 1/2 mile from home and we were able to make it home.  We think it is a problem with the linkage.

Shelbydogg was helping everyone with a problem and he very handy with almost any car.  :2thumbs:  He also has one of the most unique Challengers I have ever seen.  It looks and runs great.   :2thumbs:  Congrats on making the Hot Rod photos.

71340RT and his wife were real nice and their Challenger is very nice.   :2thumbs:

Thanks for the comps Clinton.  I'm always doing something to make the car more modern.  I didn't get to show you my remote power locks and 1000 watt sub amp hidden in the trunk.  As soon as we know next year's route, I'll start planning for that trip. It was great meeting you and your Dad.

See you next year?

Again Great Kudos go to Bill Reilly RMS Alterktion we ran "into" or should i say "over" him as we stopped to investigate a Hemi Convertible Clone being worked on at the Memphis Motorsports Park

he was under the front end replacing shocks on the Cuda "free" for the owner

GO BILL

More than i can say for the RideTech AirBar suspension - my driver bag has always leaked & we are constantly filling both sides

Informed them 3 times - their answer to repair the bag - answer - i ditched the bags and put coilovers
