They will speed your car up and improve mileage to the extent that they lighten your wallet.

I don't know if this is scientific but my gas pig of a work truck picked up 1/2mpg with this thing.  It went from 11.7mpg to my current 12.4mpg.  Mostly city driving.  Over 6 months with each way(with and without).  I bought the Tornado when Gas was over 3.00 a gallon.  Probably a waste of money.

Usually when someone buys one of these things, they start coasting more, driving a little slower and a little smoother, even if they don't realise it.  You subconciously want to see an improvement, so you drive differently.

If these things really worked, don't you think that the vast Big Oil conspiracy would have had a contract out on the makers by now ?

I get like that near cats!  :smilielol:

So if I stack 10 of these on top of my carb I'm guaranteed to get an addition minimum 40HP right?    :roflsmiley:  :woohoo:

Strangely enough, by restricting the air intake tract, they will enhance low speed/light throttle driving in the same way running a 450cfm carb on a 440 will. They might help milage..But they sure dont help power. The local import guys love them, because the trottle response in the small engines gets better..lol. If they only knew...

Don't you dare waste your money. I have a good friend I thought was smarter then that who purchased one off ebay and installed on his truck, '01' F150 V8 EFI. What I can say was it didn't do sh*t. I don't need to say more.

I replaced my air filter(was not noticeably dirty) on the '88 GT with a K&N & improved fuel economy by about 1MPG, went from high 16s to high 17s, on my average around town driving or .06% improvement. If my math is correct that is
.06% X 2.59 (average cost of fuel)= .16(cent per gallon)  ~$40(cost of filter)/.16= 250 gal X 17.8MPG= 4,450miles to pay for itself.
Also noted improvement in performance........er at least I believed so.

BUT  Tried the same thing on my '04 6cyl RAM with no improvement.  :dunno:

Just another gimmicky waste of money.I guy at work bought that,an air intake with a "supercharger"(small fan!) and a computer "chip" that supposdly piggy backs your stock computer and increases hp and milage. He claims they work but I think it`s all in his head-and it sounds cooler when he revs it.  ::) I wish he just wouldv`e thrown the money in the trash so I could have dove in and dug it out and put to some good use.You know the old saying-there`s a sucker born every minute!
