General Lee Drops By
« on: January 30, 2007 - 06:10:55 PM »
John Schneider's "Bo's General Lee" that i was told he kept from the original series and has been modified with a 511" Hemi is having some electrical issues sorted out at the shop where my Challenger is. Joey called me at work yesterday to say the car was coming in. Today the conversation went something like this:

Joey: The car's here, c'mon down and take some pics. Oh, and you'll never guess what's in the trunk from 1976 :grinno:

Russ: Daisy Duke's Daisy Dukes??  :bananasmi  :naughty: :naughty:

Joey: C'mon down you'll see...

Well it turned out to be one of the CNH320 license plates from the show. Original i would think :dunno: :smokin: Here's a few shots i took today.

Cool. If it is a real one used on the shows it will have "GL #18" or what not etched on the rear window somewhere.
Possibly on the front as well, check over all windows & see what you come up with.  ;) If the cars still there.

I would have guessed luke tied-up, a car jack, some moonshine, can of WD-40 and a box of panties...but what do I know.

Love that car.  I never understood why they put the flag on upside down...
