First concert was the Charlie Daniels Band. My buddy and I each told our mothers we were spending the night at each others house. Sixteen years old with a case of beer and a night of loud rock and roll. The next year we did the same trick and went 120 miles to go see KISS at the checkerdome in St. Louis. We didn't make it home for a couple of days due to a ice storm that hit while we were there. Man was the parents pissed but what memories,  :drunk: it was worth every minute of being grounded.

My first concert I was in the 9th grade and I went with not one, but two girls!!

Of course I was 14 so one of their Dad's had to drive us. :angelwings:

Oh yeah the question: 1st show: Uriah Heep and Suzie Quattro 1974. After that I went to dozens of top rock concerts so couldn't pick a best.

Still have all of my ticket stubs. Thinking of framing them in some sort of collage someday. :ylsuper:
They're becoming collectors items. Would love to see them.  I had all mine and a long time ago, they were stolen.

Van Halen with Dave in 1980 when I was 15. Sat in the balcony and got high as a kite without smoking anything.  Just breathing in all the secondary smoke did the trick. Fortunately, the parents accepted the truth as fact so I didn't get punished.  Of course the following Night Ranger/Loverboy concert was enjoyed "Guilt-Free"!

Best concert is a toss-up: RUSH - 30th anniversary tour. The sound was unbelievable!  Front row didn't hurt either. Smithereen's in 1989 - Tiny club in Savannah, GA, not a month after seeing them play in Jacksonville in front of 20-30,000.  They played 2+ hours in the club and were obviously enjoying not playing a stadium.

First concert was back in '76.... saw Lynyrd Skynyrd (pre-plane crash). Best concert is a lot tougher to answer- especially since I just saw Bob Seger 2 nights ago, and it would definitely be near the top. But I've seen a lot of concerts in 30 years- probably one of the best was Bruce Springsteen & The E-street Band in 1984 (have seen him 6 times).

First concert was Kiss in 1978 or something, I was 8 and my Mom & Dad took me.  As for the best, that is very hard to say, but it would have to be the following; Pink Floyd in 1988 (Momentary Lapse of Reason), Roger Waters in 2006 (Playing Dark Side of The Moon), Peter Gabriel in 1992 (I think), and Guns N Roses in 1988 (when they openned for Aerosmith and blew them away!).
Looking for my buildsheet starting with: JS29N0B115###

First - White Zombie (96) @ The Warners theater in Fresno, CA
Best - A tie between: The Faint (05) @ Disco Rodeo in Raleigh, NC & The Deftones (97) @ Pier 31 in San Fran I believe.

First album bought - Either Primus "Sailing the Seas of Cheese" or Guns & Roses "Appetite for Destruction"
First album I REALLY listened to - Beastie Boys "Lisence to Ill"

First one was ZZ Top. Hard to say what has been the best as there have been some great ones...Egales, AC/DC, Eric Clapton, Elton John....... I had always wished that I had been around (I was around but not old enough to go to a concert) when Hendrix was still playing. Anyone here ever see him live?
