A pill can save you gas?
« on: January 31, 2007 - 10:07:45 AM »
Have you ever heard of the pill you put in your gas tank from "Fuel Freedom International"?

They have been tested by several news stations and seem to work.  You drop a pill in your tank and it helps the fuel burn faster....more power?  :clueless:

They say it will not hurt your engines, but they only used newer vehicles.  The newer vehicles have the high tech computer sensors which can change the timing if needed.  If the pill works like they said, I bet it lowers the octane of the fuel which would allow a faster burn of the fuel.

This is not a good thing for engines because it could cause pinging, but with the newer cars the timing of the ignition can be controled very quickly with the computer.  So it could be possible that the pill works as they say, but I would never consider this product in anything other than a newer car.

Anyone else heard of it? or tried it?

If we could get our cars to run on methane then maybe my car would get 18 miles per taco!!!  :roflsmiley:

20 mpt (miles per taco) if spicy salsa used!

Its an auto company and gas company conspiracy. There are cars that go 200mpg, and they arent sold, and there are pills that turn water into gas, that arent sold either. Its because they want to keep making money...

Yeah, right. I'll take my chances with just driving conservatively, and proper preventative maintanance, thank you very much.
