New Front Bumper ???

I am playing hell finding a new front bumper for my 71 Challenger - Any ideas ??? Also, is there any difference between the Challenger and the R/T bumpers ???

Rick,

  Have you tried Year One? There is no difference between a base model, or R/T bumper, unless you are talking about adding the little bumper gaurds like I have. Still, that means no difference in the bumper.

Layson's Restorations has very good products and lists bumpers on their site (www.laysons.com).  I haven't seen their chrome, but we had a hassle getting a Challenger bumper rechromed locally because the place's templates for straightening the bumpers had them going straight across and not dipping down in the middle.  I would probably go with Layson's if I were doing it again (and I probably will because our Cuda will need a front bumper soon).  My only experience with Layson's is having them rebuild a speedometer for us.  It came back absolutely beautiful.

I agreeYear One is the way to go. Also stay away from Bumber Boyz their quality to put it nicely is garbage.
