    OK- who's got snow on the ground?

    It's iceing over at my house north of Birmingham Al. But I am stuck here in Tampa Fl. for the next 3 days. It's 70 here today. But I know I have to go home this sunday. Glad I built my shop 3 months ago :2thumbs:.

    It snowed about an inch today, and its still coming down here in WI.   :wave:

    Some of you guys probably have a heart attack when you see that white stuff  :roflsmiley: :scared:

    Snowed last night and more comming thursday or so the forcasters claim.I used to live in Florida Alan,a few hours south of where your at.

    is that just snow in northern Ga or sleet too?  Looked like sleet for ya on the weather channel to me. Hope you keep your power and stay warm. I rented a 2007 forf pickup this time and loaded the back down with a bunch of free steel of various sizes and thickness, and they gave me 50 feet of 1/2 by 3' conveyor belt. So I got some weight back there for my trip home. I am going through Atlanta on the way home.....

    It's supposed to be a combination of sleet/freezing rain/snow---depending on where you are.  Sleet/freezing rain around the Atlanta metro and snow as you get farther north.   It has been my experience here that the more they predict it, the less it happens.  The worst ever since I have been alive wasn't predicted and we got a couple of feet of snow.....

    pretty much NONE this year.....finally got a light dusting a few days ago...

    picture of my T/A taken about a decade ago.....sold it since

    triple black, 4spd....3,400 miles

    Well Alan if ole Doppler Dan has a clue Cullman us on the fer southern line of the feezing stuff & shouldn't see anything but rain, Huntsville is not suppose to see anything till about 3-4AM, a low temp of about 27 with maybe 2" at worst in the higher elevations (read not a snowballs chance).
       Keep the shinney side up on your way home Ya hear.

    Thanks, I live up on Lacon mnt. It is always windy and cooler there. I am hoping the travel will be good this sat or sunday. I may stop by Baton Rouge first and pick up 2 440 hp's and a 400 that I need to build as a stroker for a friend. Glad the company pays the tab for everything. If no Baton rouge then straight to Atlanta and head west on I-20 :2thumbs:

    We received about an inch of snow, but the wind blew most of it away. Now its 10 below w/wind chill. Wilber Nebraska.
