I have a set, they are pricey. you can get them for like 1000 to 2500 bucks depending on what it needs. Watch for heads that were ported on. Many people did their own porting back in the day. Todays heads have a bigger advantage for useage. You'd be more pleased to match up the newer aftermarket things out there.

You will also need the MW sized intake. And I would definately watch out for home ported deals. It may actually be cheaper to pick up a new set of Stage heads from MP in iron too...Just another thought...

Good words to take heed on Moper :2thumbs:  I had 1 set ported by a reputable shop on a flow bench. Added hardend seats, bronze guides, Bigger intake and exhaust valves cc'ed yadda yadda. I got 6k in them. I know a bunch of money, but I am giving them to a special friend for a gift. I also gave himm my 499 cube block. He is trying to get the money up for the combo I told him to buy.

:roflsmiley:   I've had my friends around for 25 or 30 yrs.  Some of them don't have as good a job as others. I put no value on my friendship.   :2thumbs:  Right now, you can be my buddy   I told my wife just today that I wished I had friends around here where I moved to. It's just no fun playing with this stuff by myself, and I am always working and on the road. I believe there is a member here that lives close to me in Huntsville Al, I was thinking about meeting him soon one day and seeing if we had anything in common on a personality level.
