Am i crazy?

thinking about putting off working on my 70 this next spring(17+ year project i know i know) and picking up a 69 cuda.  Ive always liked the 69's and found one locally cheap and a good straight body.  If i get the 69 it will mostly be a fun daily driver not another show car.  what do you guys think?

I think a person should have at least have one driver. We have turned the T/A into a show car pretty much. That is why we got the RR done and we drive the wheels off it. My brother in law wants the RR back and has aggreed to buy us a new Challenger if we like them for it. I only agreed to this because we have the 2 A bodies to make another driver out of. The '73 is for the wife and will be a small block. While the '68 Dart will be mine and I'm leaning t'wards a 440.

I Would definatley do it . I am looking for a 67 to 69 for just that purpose , I had a 67 with a 235 hp 273 and it is my favorite car i have ever driven

thats what i wanna do is a ss/a clone as a daily driver. Prob keep it a sb for a while and just have fun.

If it were my choice, I'd keep only one active project at a time. If I really wanted a driver, I'd make sure to buy a completed one so it wouldn't become a burden and distract me from other work that needs to be done.

  Opportunity presents itself sometimes only once, if you want it and can get it then I'd say doooo it. That was my recent logic, I have a 69 Polara 500 vert. that was going to be a project for me in my retirement. Then I by chance ran accross a lil 71 Dart, althought the work required on the Dart is very little it too will be "available". But like a couple have suggested, work only on one at a time and then go to the next one. Well, either pick up that phone or get yer butt down there and make an offer. 


But to answer your subject question, YES, you are Mopar crazy........hey, even your site name tells us that.

Hey CrazyPete, to answer your first question, YES!     Get the Barraccuda.  Soon you can start to stack the projects like cord wood.  When are you gonna come work on my challenger?

First...are you crazy?? well, yes, your title is crazypete!!. Second, I hate it when someone never gets anything done, especially on a nic e 70 Challenger, but, if you don't get the 69 cuda, then you'll regret it and may never get a chance at one again, and....it may inspire you to start on the 70 a little quicker!

well my challenger is done for a while(even tho nothing is really ever done lol) good enough for local shows ect........the cuda has been in my possesion for over 17 years from when i first bought it (at 17) in all her bone stock form.  And its far from stock now.  Who knows what i'll do i got a few days to make up my mind................Oh and hopalong you need to get going and finish your challenger 

In retrospect i'll prob pass on the 69 since another project car will max me out right now(space wise).  But im tempted big time since the first car i ever went and looked at was a 69 cuda with a big block ever since then ive wanted one.  And ive got cash saved up for my 70 cuda so IDK lol!
