Does anyone sell correct seat-covers?
« on: February 04, 2007 - 11:59:18 AM »

My pass seat and rear seat is original to my car, the previous owner bought a Legendary driver's cover & had an upholstery shop re-do just that one seat.  Problem is, the original covers were done with white seam thread & all the repops I've seen use black thread.  Does anyone sell correct covers, done with white thread?

I figure I have 3 options:
Buy the standard repops, take them to an uphostery shop & have them taken apart & re-sewn with correct white thread.
Talk to Legendary & see if they can do a set with the correct thread
Buy a new set & just install it and put up with incorrect thread color.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I am not sure but you can try yearone. You might get lucky there.
Write to mikel@yearone.com, (Mike Lancaster), he is very helpful.

I deal with Mike too, he's the man! But I think you're (like me) overseas Farouk, UK?
He's the International manager or something along those lines so they won't deal through Mike.

I think Year One uses legendary products so it maybe a little cheaper going direct.
For those of us overseas it's safer and faster going to Year One - very professional, peace of mind.
