Fav is just painted body color , 2nd is SE , I love the way vinyl helps promote the rust due to not prepping under the roof properly

I liked the painted roof. But my vinyl is growing on me when it comes to waxing the Chally. No roof to wax, I'm too short. :walkaway:

No vinyl roof for me. Only E-Body I would take one on is a triple black car.  :2cents:

The only top I like is the one that a switch on the dash makes come down. :stirpot:
Seriously I prefer a painted top (depending on color), but the vinyl top still looks great. (hint, hint Kinda looks like a conv). :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

I like the painted top best because it does not promote rust.

Mine had a vinyl top, but it was removed when we painted it.

first time I ever saw one....late 1969....friend of mine bought a new triple black RT/SE, 440 SIX PACK with a SHAKER...air shocks, M50 Mickey Thompsons and Cragars all around....it looked absolutely stunning coming down the cruise strip at night....unfortunately the car met an early demise and was replaced by a 70 Charger, triple black RT/SE 440 SIX PACK 4 spd, same Cragars etc etc.......six months later it was gone too....his cars didn't last too long, and he didn't grow old either
