72 challenger Drum/Disk
« on: February 05, 2007 - 07:37:46 AM »
my 72 Challenger has drums up front.  I would like disks...does any other car interchange with the Challener?

I may have access to a 78 or 79 Volare with front disks...any chance?

You could also do the junkyard upgrade which is pulling the 11 3/4" Brake setup off a late b-body. The b-body spindles will bolt right up to a stock ebody. (however some say due to they are a little taller than stock it throws the ball joint at an weird angle. I will be running them with HD Moog upper ball joints.  :dunno:). Another option is the late Abody 73-76 disc spindles will bolt right on a ebody, stock height and accept the 11 3/4" rotors. You will need the 11 3/4" caliper adapters, dust sheilds and rotors to put them onto the abody spindles.

I'm doing junkyard late cordoba spindles, new 11 3/4" rotors, reman slider calipers, new lines hard/flex here pretty soon, replacing my stock disc stuff.
