1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

You aren't going to leave those wheels on the car while it's being painted are you? I made that mistake, and even though the painter used tire covers I still had light overspray on the wheels. It was the pits to clean off, to put it mildly! :pullinghair:

sorry for the confusion, the engine compartment holes from the engine swap are getting welded closed and an spray is going to be done

also both front fenders did not have enuff paint so the black or grey primer underneath gives the fenders a sorta lime yellow appearance

especially with the newly yellow painted t/a hood - the fenders will be faded from the hood into both doors

the bottom crease of both doors were lacking enuff paint also and have surface rust so they will be prepped and sprayed as well

great suggestion re: the wheels - I will bring this to the attention of the body shop owner

Yup, that "yeller" takes ALOT of paint! :grinyes: (don't ask me how I know) :bricks1:

my body shop owner called yesterday said he will only do the engine compartment now since it is a 2 man shop & too hard to move car around without engine

that's okay, complete engine bay and install hemi & then go back to body shop  :working:

goin to the body shop today Friday to check on status & shoot some pics in progress

hopefully get the challenger up running in maybe a month ?????

to the sound shop for about 2-3 weeks

back to the body shop for some paint work about 2 weeks ???

May  --  Power Tour starts for me on May 31 - drive from Biloxi to Cleveland
