Trivia Type Contest
« on: February 05, 2007 - 09:08:06 AM »
We have a lot of people on this site that consider themselves experts (btw - I consider them experts too) on the subject of Cudas/Challengers. What if we create a contest where the entry fee would be say 20-30 dollars. Then create a test consisting of several categories (i.e. identify this part section, what year was this option dicontinued or started, etc.). We would probably attach a higher weighting factor on say the identify this part section then others but we could definity challenge some of these experts and I think that their pride will get them involved. The prize would be maybe like the fifty/fifty and along with the cash the coveted title of Cuda-Challenger.com Expert.

Mike,
This may come as a surprise to you, but you were not one of the experts that I
had in mind. When we get around to where your expertise lays I will let you know
      - Could be a while before we find it.  :poopoke:

I think its a good idea.  But with the 2 people that would enter (Chryco and Barry, maybe Lunchbox) , not much money would be raised.   :icon16:

But really, I think a lot of people would be discouraged to try it.   :dunno:

Maybe we steer away from technical questions and make it a true cc.com trivia contest. 1) What was Rev's first concert. 2) Who won the 50/50 raffle. Then of course we will need to have some tie breakers such as based on the first 100 members polled, what is the best e-body, the most popular color, etc. After all entries are in we then run the actual polls.
