Rallye hood-Challenger
« on: February 05, 2007 - 08:03:12 PM »
Got a rallye hood for sale form a 74 challenger.  It's in pretty good shape, no dents or dings or even hail damage.  Has some surface rust at the leading edge and some in front of the passenger side scoop.  Rust is not all the way through, just on the surface. Scoops and front edge moulding is included.  Only thing it doesnt come with would be the latch.  $400 plus shipping.

Oh, and DODGE emblems are included too.

TTT.  This thing needs to go.  This is about the best I can do for a hood in such good shape.  If you buy a goodmark hood, its 500 bucks less scoops and hood trim.....and letters.  By the time you ship one of them, buy scoop inserts and the front trim and letters, you're looking at close to $700.  Deal city here folks.  If it doesnt sell here in a week....off to E-bag...

I can get better, more detailed, pics for anyone who wants them.  Just need to have a day of good weather here in NC...lol.

I'll make it a little more enticing...$350 +shipping takes it home-that's my bottom dollar.

Any idea how much the shipping would be to Lantana, FL, zip:33465? I live in Finland but I can get overseas shipping from that zip.

edit:

Just used some online calculator www.intershipper.com and results for 100lbs package (should be near that?) were:

I used 27562 as senders zip, that is probably close?

Federal Express FDX 2nd Day $157.68
Federal Express FDX Express Saver $132.50
Federal Express FDX First Overnight $376.68
Federal Express FDX Priority Overnight $349.31
Federal Express FDX Standard Overnight $318.65
  Federal Express FDX Ground $42.93
United Parcel Service UPS 3 Day Select $134.80
United Parcel Service UPS 2nd Day Air $194.48
United Parcel Service UPS 2nd Day Air AM $227.44
United Parcel Service UPS Next Day Air Saver $336.50
United Parcel Service UPS Next Day Air $356.54
United Parcel Service UPS Next Day Air Early AM $387.74
United Parcel Service UPS Ground $62.76
DHL World Wide Express Next Day Air 10:30 AM $340.51
AirBorne AirBorne Overnight Air Express $207.00
  AirBorne AirBorne 2nd Day $109.00
  AirBorne AirBorne Ground $45.00

So the fedex ground and airborne (dhl nowadays) ground seems to be very cheap. You can pack it up etc.? I'm waiting for reply from the overseas shipper and if those ground rates are somewhat right I'm very interested. Anyway if the shipping stays somewhat under 100$ I'm good with it.
