Found a 68 Roadrunner locally for sale....

The guy is asking $6500 for it....has a 77 440 with a auto....car was originally a 383 4 speed....it has some of the original 4 speed parts, but is missing the whole tranny....but it did have some extra parts including a aluminum tranny housing....its sporting a 69 front end, but has some good extras....quarters need replacing, floors are good, trunk is good, outer wheel houses need replacing....I'm thinking about offerring $4000 for it.....

Cool find!! Boy have the prices changed, I paid $1,500 for mine in '92 and took it for a test drive.

I definitely wouldn't pay more than 4k for it, especially with the sheet metal change and drive train change.

WOW that looks just like the RR that sits in the junk by my Grandmas house in TN, same rims and all!!!  If I rem correctly it had Red int?

No way more than 4k.  JMO.  Especially for the low comp 440 and non original tranny, just too many things changed about it.   :2cents:
