Anybody live near me?
« on: February 07, 2007 - 03:59:23 PM »
I'm in Cullman Al. area. Been here for 6 or 7 years, but havent really met any members or good people since I am working all the time.  I don't bite but bark a little. Been a mopar mechanic for close to 30 yrs, and would like to be able to help out some members, swap parts, and go cruisin.

If your anywhere near me, drop me a pm....ALAN  Oh, I live in a dry county, I don't drink, but have no problems with my friends haveing a few every now and then. There's an 1/8 mile track about 7 miles from my house too.

Alan i'm in Montgomery several blocks away from v8440/grosum; these days i'm "Mopar poor"  :bricks1:   I have an '87 360 4bbl to be rebuilt stock to replace the (very worn out) original 318 2bbl in my truck (which passed 226k over the weekend) as well as my R/T SE getting rebuilt.
For someone who likes driving these are not fun times :walkaway:
I will too have fun at Carlisle!!!!!

I'll be living in Bellingham at a La quinta motel for the week or so, then shooting over to Ogden Utah. If I get some spare time, I may wanna look you up OK?  BP oil refinery there in Blaine is very slow, so they will be eating up the hours because of safety.

Russ, I was supposed to go over to grosums v8440 :roflsmiley: house today, but got all tied up helping the wife with IRS taxes (YUK!), taking her out to lunch  :eek4: then getting some parts ready to ship for some members, then completely re arranged the stuff in my shop so I could see what I had stacked around there. I am planning on going over there tomorrow around 4 or 5 am so I should be there around 7 or 8. How far are you from him? He's got my ole 71 rust free NewPort. That was a good car.

Alan, You know I'm just down the road from you in Huntville. Think you might want to come to a Tennesee Valley Mopar Club Meeting, or the Sat. night cruise-in in Madison? Check it out at
http://www.tvmoparclub.com/
Let me know if your coming & I'll try to be sure to be there. I look forward to meeting you.

Darn, I leave out sunday for seattle, and my wifes birthday celebration is Saturday....Go figure... I need to drive this ole challenger some, it is setting too much. I will take a rain check on all the excitement.

Rustys/e  Glad to meet you today, the drive was long, but worth it all just to meet good people. Let me know if I can lend a hand in any way for you on your project. I'd be glad to help

Grosum/v8440, thanks a bunch for cleaning my new manifolds. They will be installed in about 1 hr from now...Wifes makeing spaghetti for supper then I got things to do :2thumbs:
