Funny car is interesting.  John Force hasn't qualified yet, and Ashley has qualified.  It might turn out that John bumps Ashley from the field.  That's mixed emotions for sure.  Qualifying is on tv right now..........     :burnout:   :cooldancing:

For now..........He's 16th.   I hope he gets one more chance to move up the ladder.   I'm a Scelzi fan too.  You ever met him?  He's a small guy---maybe 5'7" or 5'8".

You are prolly right.   I met him at the Moper Southern Nats this year.  There was no NHRA meet that weekend and a lot of the NHRA guys were there just hangin' out.   Both Mopar Pro-Stockers were there putting on some demo runs.  Scelzi actually walked over to the Beast and checked it out.  He asked if it was one of his NHRA buddies old Cuda and I told him it was.  He complimented the car and told me I got a great deal on it...  Nice guy.....

I heard last year that they lost the sponsor on his Funny Car deal, so he went looking for a new ride.  He mentioned late last year that he would consider moving back into the Top Fuelers.  I guess he did alright, he is solidly in the field....

According to the ladder on NHRA's website John and Ashley will only see each other in the finals. That would be awesome to see 2 Forces in the finals.

That would be pretty cool.  They were talking on the tube about how John could potentially bump Ashley.  If John got bumped out, and she got bumped down to 16, then if John got in, it would put her out.  That would be a tough run for ole Dad...........    :crying:

Ashley is last with several cars yet to go.  Could it be that Dad bumps her out?   The drama is killin' me.....     :violin:
