17" Foose wheels on my Chally.
« on: February 14, 2007 - 11:10:44 AM »
Couple weeks ago I just installed these 17"x8"  Foose wheels on my 71 Challenger. I got a great deal on these wheels on Ebay. Looking for opinions on how they look?
I was thinking on selling them and buying a set of Coys like I have on my black Cuda, but 18"x 9.5".

They look sweet.  Do you know the specs?  Backspacing and width, also tire sizes.  Would take the guesswork out of ordering rims.

Thanks

OK that is an interesting way to put what I was thinking

Foose wheels are nice but not for E-body. Sorry...

I think I saw one set that looked or would have looked good on an E-Bod and it was a ..."knock-off" of a rally rim

Ok, now I have to get your opinion on my thinking... :clueless:

When I got a Chall.Vert. in the driveway, I was thinking of borrow the 17" wheels from my DeSoto, and mount them on the vert..

Will that be OK.. :clueless: :clueless:

I think they look great. What did you have on there before? If you went from 14s or 15s, what kind of handling and ride quality differences were there?

I had 17"x8" polished Boyd Junk yard dogs, speacial order for a e-body. I put them on my blue Cuda for a photo shoot.
Ride handling steering responce are much better with the 17"
