Hey all. decided for my 100 post to start a thread on the project I started several years ago,1972 Rallye Challenger,It started with a lot of rust in the rear of the car,it did run and move but didnt stop to well.It was going to take alot of time and MONEY to get it back in shape.so here we go one peice at a time,the car was pretty complete except where
rust had taken over,here is a couple of pics of the start

doesn't look to rusty where you at now?

Looks can be deceiving,the trunk pan was like swiss cheese,the right side quarter panel was full of bondo,the left needed a lower patch, and pass floor pan.
The car is now in primer waiting for paint,time and money
it was and still is alot of work to get it just right

Hello 72  sunroof.   You are next door to me.  (Rockingham).  Your resto is looking good. And yes pics can be deceiving. If you look at mine on the day I brought it home it looks like I should have been able to drive it home. Not the case. Thats another story.

Thanks ,yes it is a factory power sunroof car TB3 White top, White interior
The car is mainly in epoxy primer right now,with the outer panels in K36 high build primer, the under side is sprayed with a mixture of white and black(makes gray)epoxy,still not sure how i am going to finish it
the trunk is painted but I think it turned out a little dark. What do you think?

Looking very nice there 72SR 
My first car was a 1972 Chally, so I definitely have a soft spot for that year.
As for too dark, you are always going to be your worst critic, so take that into account.
I think it looks amazing, and you should be very happy with how far along you are

Wow! a real sunroof car I would love a sunroof in my car.  Don't see TB3 with a white top/white interior too often.

Trunk looks good for TB3 but hard to tell if it's a little dark as the flash could have brightened it up some.  Looks fine to me.

I like TB3 but I guess it's not that popular a color for some reason.  Maybe because it wasn't available on '70-'71 E-bodies. It looks sort of like the Ford Grabber Blue they had on the Boss/Mach 1 cars but thiers was a little darker. 

Sometimes I wondered what my car would look like in a different color but the TB3 is kinda unique.  I guess I say to myself that if Mopar had a Hi Impact blue this would be it as it sort of fits in line with Sublime and Panther Pink, IMO.  I see some modern cars now with almost this shade of blue now.  Forgot which ones though.  Could've been BMW and Mitsubishi?

Anyhows, looks great!
