You are thinking about the future and thinking about it in the correct way. Sometimes you have to make some consolations along the way. I wish that Mustang would have been my consolation. When I was going through college, I drove a Ford F150 for nearly 10 years until I got my BA. I was working during the day making enough money to pay for my schooling and exist. That was tough considering that I crammed as many credits into each semester as I could handle. Now that I have graduated (will - class of '90) and will into a good career, I can play all that I want (within reason). Finish school and then enjoy yourself.

Sorry to hear about the Challenger, but I hope you don't regret it later.  Have fun with college life.

Good luck with your decition. I have to admit the wife and I talked to 3 different Ford dealers when the 05 came out. When we found out about the new Challenger we decided to wait. Those new Mustangs are a very nice car though.

That's a pretty good price for your Chally Justin.  I hate that you have to sell it, but totally understand your situation.  By the way...have you figured out how much your insurance is going to jump up in that mustang?  :scared:  Very nice looking car by the way...I'm sure Pixie will be completely envious! :grinyes:

That was a change in a different direction!

Do what you gotta do.  Like Rev said, $15K is a goos price for your car as it is now.  You might regret it but you won't when you don't have to wrench on it as compared to a newer car.  Also the $$$ helps.  I had to sell my '69 Lemans convertible when I went back to school and regret it but I said to myself that I would get another muscle car.  I know others are in college and working on thier cars (which is great) but it's nice to hop in your car and just drive off and not worry about missing an exam because your car won't start.  As a second car it's fine but as primary transportation it gets rough.

Going to school is always a great option to have as many can't even afford to go when they want to.  Bimmers can be pretty quick.

Nice BMW!  One of the guys I know here at school has a '99 323IS...Talk about a fun car to drive!  So anymore details on your Challenger's possible sale?  That'd be quite the price for a 340 Challenger needing a rebuild. :faint:  Hopefully it works out well for you. :2thumbs:

Nice BMW. If you change wheels keep the originals.  The BMW people are real finicky to have the original equipment. When they say numbers matching they are talking about the drivetrain and the numbered body panels etc.  It's a good thing we don't go that deep with the Mopars.
