    Home made small block engine cradle

    I did a search but can find the post.  I know someone posted pictures of their home made engine cradle (for a small block).  The cradle was made out of wood and had a tape ruler showing dimensions.  If any has pictures and dimesions they could post I would appreicate it.

    I got this from Harbor Freight. It's a motorcycle dolly/stand . I just cut about 3" off the crossbar and closed it up to fit. You can adjust the height and width too. Got it on sale with a coupon $23.60.  can't go wrong for that price. looks like a big block would fit to...

    Good idea, but won't that bend the pan up on the sides?

    Good morning JB, It said it will hold up to a 1,000 lb. motorcycle, why not. plus a bike is not small either....If you made one out of wood or angle iron it would cost you more. Didn't put a big block pan on yet. My friend said he will bring one over this week...
