I picked up my wheels and tires today for the cuda, adn I'm glad I did. The guys done at the tire shop said they had tons of people trying to buy my radial T/A tires as far away as Canada because of the backorder. Also I just put in my first order for this project to Year One, over 3k and that was with a larger discount adn free shipping. It will be like Christmas next week at my house.

It's been a while, but now since school is finished and the Duster is nearing completion I am able to get back working on the cuda. Since Monday, I have removed all of the interior, removed the front clip, removed the exhaust, removed all the wiring, removed virtually everything from the engine compartment including the motor and transmission. Tomorrow I will replace the drivers inner fender, and see what else I want to do. Here are some pictures of my progress. There are plenty more to follow in the next few days. I'm going to try and get this one done in record time. I am not going to reveal my time schedule, mainly because there are many that will say it is impossible. So stay tuned. The floors are very solid except for the trunk and drivers inner fender.

Here is what I got done today. I also started stripping the front frame rails and the rest of the engine compartment. I should have the car from the firewall forward ready for paint by Monday at the latest. :woo: :woo:

I got some more work done today. I installed the 4 speed hump, it went right in, with no problems at all. I also started stripping the floors, and primed what I stripped. Tomorrow I should finish the floors, and maybe I will cut out the trunk.

I just one an 18 spline 4 speed out of a 70 challenger on ebay for 1200 :jumping: my search for a 4 speed is finally over. I will have new pictures judging by what time it is now this afternoon. I might get the trunk pan welded in today, but the doors are off and most of the front and rear window channels have been welded up. Also I just heard a rumor that some local resto shop wants to buy my cuda from me the way it is. Normally I would say no way but with me moving to Sunnyvale it might not be a bad idea. We will see how serious they are. I'll keep you guys posted.

Finally got the trunk jammed. It has been so hard to get work done on the cuda now that I live in Sunnyvale (4 hour drive to where the car is). I am going up to Redding every other weekend to work on it. The next trip up will be over labor day most likely and I will be installing the doors, dash, front and rear glass, pedals and what ever else I have time for. Hopefully even though I am so far away I will be making a lot of progress, since there is very little bodywork left to do.

Over labor day weekend we got some more work done on the cuda, got the pedals, vent, defroster duct, firewall pad, and dash in the interior. Got the windows in, and the doors on and aligned. My brother has been getting bodywork done, so that is getting a lot closer to paint. NExt weekend more progress and pictures to come. :woo:
