Extremely Sad Tragedy

The Feb.12th 2007 tragedy at Trolley Square in Salt Lake City (http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=888784) (http://kutv.com/topstories/local_story_045100658.html) directly affected our dear friend Steve Hinckley, the head of car show operations for Mopars at the Strip.
Steve' s 15-year-old daughter and her mother were visiting Trolley Square when this senseless act of violence took place. Tragically, Steve's precious daughter Kirsten was shot during the rampage, and her life was taken. Kirsten's mother is in the hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds.

I just read the news article.  That was horrible, like a bad nightmare.  I can't even fathom what it's like to lose one of my kids.  The pain all the families are feeling... I can't even imagine.  My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

That's aweful!!!  Stories like this always make me wonder what the he!! these psychos are thinking to go out and commit such an act!  What's sad is I easily could've told you he'd be a menace to society after the remark of him "dropping out of school in '04".  What's wrong with society these days?   All the losers who dropped out of my class back in hs have all gone on to become drug dealers or imprisoned, so why even put up with this crap?

These kind of things make me swell with anger. So sad it nearly brought tears thinking of my own family being in that situation.

Having lost a daughter in her prime (18 y/o), I understand the feelings he is going through.  My heartfelt prayers go out to his family and the other families that lost loved ones in this act of cowardice.  We will never know why stuff like this happens.  I'm glad the worthless POS that did this was taken out in the process by the police.    Oldschool
