    How's the Winter Projects Coming Along?

    There was a post last fall about the winter "todo" list.  How's everyone making out? I'm not doing real well on shortening the list - in fact it has got longer.  I'll wait until late March to get going (once the basement is done!)

    Install new door handles; a little more wet sanding polishing and glazing; install washer bottle; frame connectors (I doubt it); retorque head gaskets; retorque mains(long story), rechrome signal bezels (sent out already), adjust side glass, polish rear and side glass, fit rear door panels screws (aftermarket panel screw holes aren't quite right), get front end checked out - install new control arm bushings and front sway bar bushings at minimum, wire up Line Loc, install header bungs for Innovate air/fuel sensors, install new Grant "Tuff" steering wheel (if it ever arrives!) :1zhelp:

    My list for the challenger was short, install EI.  Havent gotten that far, but the list for my '67 pickup was long, and that is coming along nicely, I should go get a pic to post...  :picture:

    I never had much to do. My rear bumper guard that had a piece of chrome pop off and is not back from being rechromed. My tach which is reading high has not been sent off to be repaired but is boxed up and ready to go out. I did get the new woodgrain plates installed on my dash bezels for the Cuda. I got my rear seat belts for the Cuda but have not installed them yet. Other than that I just need warm weather and no snow so I can drive and enjoy my Cuda and Challenger.

    Well since I sold my 71 I can now get started on my 70. I started ordering parts today and last week I started disassembling the car. I'm going to work really hard and try and get this one done by the end of April. Don't know if I'm going to make it or not, but at least it is a goal. Wish me luck.

    Friday afternoon, got challenger back from body shop - engine compartment paint - Saturday - installing wire harness to firewall with wire looms, installing wire brain to dual Be Cool Fans & aluminum radiator, plenty left to do - install motor in 2 weeks?

    I haven't been able to do much as my 'cuda is stored 40 miles away from were I live. And the garage it's stored in is just as cold as the weather outside. All I've done is: Installed lower front valance insert, Install heater valve in the heating system. Replaced the truck key cylinder. I am planing on replacing the rear valance to get the 'cuda exhaust. As mine has a Barracuda version for some reason. Probably replaced due to damage. But I guess this and other stuff have to wait until I get the 'cuda home. You can check out my process here: http://www.widing.biz/cuda/

    Getting there...Interior is going back in.  Next thing to address is my braking system.  Then finish the body work and paint.

    Well since i don't have a car to work on right know, I am working on my garage so it will be ready when I get a new project.

    I designed and built some cabnets to hold all the wifes stuff that ends up in the garage (love ya honey).  these where designed for mega storage. 24 inch deep and non cross bars.

    Still need to prime and paint them.

    1. Woodgrain dash plate installed
    2. Dents from top's pins taken out.
    3. Chaulkiness on interior panels scrapped off.
    4. New carpetting....soon to be installed.
    5. Front sway bar replacement.....when it gets warmer.
    6. Front torque boxes....once car is driveable.
    7. Sill plates polished, finally
    That's about all for now, but as one thing gets done I usually keep finding something else to do. You know that old syndrome...since this is out, I might as well....
