i would say yes if you were yanking on it pretty hard. sorry for the poor luck.

also might want to check the pinion nut. i have had one of those come loose on me and it only vibrated when i was up to speed as well. did the driveshaft hold the weight of the trans before or after being balanced? could be one of your u joints?!?

Put it up on stands and take off the rear tires and bring it up to speed. If it still vibrates take of the driveshaft and try it again.  I thought that you said that nothing vibrated till you pulled the tranny and put it back in.

 other members had similar problems,
one turned out being a bad u-joint

agreed. sorry, i posted last night then had to modify and didnt take that out after reading that it only does it when moving.   :dupe:
