Seat Covers
« on: February 18, 2007 - 09:17:40 AM »
Did anybody ever purchase seat covers from PG Seat Covers in Grand Falls, NB, Canada? He sells a complete set of covers both buckets and rear seat on E-Bay for $250.00 plus shipping. I don't know who his supplier is and not sure about the grain. Any input would be appreciated...

Check 1st if no one knows but what I understand the term covers is different than upholstry.

For that price I would think there is a big difference between what you will get for $250 and what you will get from Legendary or one of there dealers. I got mine from http://www.dantesparts.com/seatcover.html Call Dante up and see what he has to say. I am sure of one thing he will tell you the truth about the covers and upholstry.

Do you have a link to the E-Bay auction?

I bought some 250 dollar ones off the bay.  They weren't from PG but I imagine something similar.  They fit pretty good but are not matches to the originals.  IMO they are good for a driver.  As for being covers or Upholstery these would no be covers as they were tight going over the foam, I can't imagine trying to stretch them over the original upholstery.

Upholstry is the commonly used term for made to fit like the factory originals, while seat covers can be anything from generic slip on to form fitted specificly to a model but just go over the originials.

I'm Just suggesting you clairify with the seller before you order so you will know what to expect.

Hey guys, the man e-mailed me  back today and said they are upholstry covers. He also said that they are not the correct vinyl but a smooth leather looking vinyl. I'll see if he could e-mail a close up of the covers. My car is far from being perfect, so if they are close I may go for them. I'll let you know and if he send me a photo I'll post it.......
