Challenger Door Handles
« on: February 18, 2007 - 02:59:07 PM »
Has anyone bought the Challenger only reproduction door handles from Josh's Muscle car parts?

Just wondering how these fit?  They appear to have the contour to them like the originals had.  Anyone have any experience with these?

Figured I'd post this again since it was moved. It had NOTHING to do with Ebay.  I was only wondering if anyone used these!  It would help if the mod would read the post BEFORE moving it to where no one will read it...

How can you say it had nothing to do with ebay . . there was a link to the auction right in the middle of it??   :screwy:    And no worries mate, us MODS read everything.

This one went to the interior area as it's interior handles.  I see you're new and just so you know, members read all the sections here and you'll probably get a better response in the tech area than you will in the cuda-challenger area.  Hope you enjoy the site!

I responded to one of your threads, but I will do it again. I have bought from Josh, and I believe they are first rate. The pics of these handles look good to me, and at that price, I would buy them. I had to fit repro Cuda handles on my car.  :eek4: It can be done, but who the heck wants Cuda parts on their car?  :dunno:

I got a set of Cuda one on my car now.  I didn't want them messing up my good Challenger ones at the bod shop.  You must have spent some time grinding them to fit huh?

Funny this is in the INTERIOR section being that these handles are for the OUTSIDE of the car....

Oops when I looked at them for the first time, I thought they were interior door handles, hence the grinding comment.   :violin:

Wow...a lot of confusion here.  The handles I was enquiring about are for the OUTSIDE.

For those that do not know, Challenger OUTSIDE door handles were unique in that they have a slight curve to the handle housing that follows the contour of the body on the upper door.  Since way back in the day the Mopar replacements have been a Cuda style which are flat.  In my opinion these dont fit right on the Challengers.  Once you see the differences it may bother you, as it does me, to see the flat version on the Challenger door.
