How is the starter access on his R/T SE?
Uh Russ, you give up on the facory manifold search
And I know steel prices went up, and steel mills closed too. But going up 100 bucks at a time per set of headers was just wrong. The cost wasn't that dramatic. I am not saying TTI is a bad set, I am saying just cause they cost a bunch, doesnt make them the best in my eyes.
And a few hints for some of our members is when you install your engines, sometimes you can adjust the engine in the mounts a bit. It kinda depends on how it's setting when you tighten the engine bolts and the cross member bolts. The distance from the engine mounts to the trans mount and member is enough to make a 1/2" difference in where the engine can set, which can affect tortion bars, center links, steering boxes, but russ, sometimes headers and starters just abosultely suck. A good starter will give years of faithful starts before the anger mode hits.
Header tube size is a big factor for fit issues too. Myself, I love 2" or 2 1/8. So I can make bigger power. So getting headers to fit good is a big challenge no matter who builds them.
