Correct hood hinges for 71 Challenger?
« on: February 19, 2007 - 04:40:49 AM »
I took a pair of hood hinges that I had been using on my Challenger to media blast them for paint. I noticed that one had teeth and a gear while the other one had a couple of half moon circles instead of a gear. The teeth were kind of chewed up and sloppy. After pulling the springs on both styles I realized that the other one was nice and tight and so I have decided to use that style on my Challenger but are those kind correct for my year Challenger? I have plenty to choose from so I can use both but the non tooth style seems superior to me.

Thanks for the pics! I have all 3 types but it looks like I will be using 73-74 hinges on my Challenger.
