The car had bucket seats. Buddy of mine had a 70 Callenger that was a plain jane with 318, buckets and collumn shift.
I'd rather be BLOWN than INJECTED!

Kinda weird how they came out with column and buckets I think, The hole idea of column is so you can get the bench seat in. I think cars with the bucket seat column shift option are wasted talent because the owner could have console shift 727 or 4-Speed. Thanks for the info REPOMAN, Thats one of the 9.6% Challenger's that was column just that one was bucket not bench.

There's a 70 challenger on ebay right now that's a column shift/bucket seat (in Arizona for all you folks out there).  The guy says it has a 383 or 440 in it right now, but I don't think it was an RT (no ralley dash).  He showed the fender tag, but it's a bit blurry and backwards...maybe those of you with better eyes than mine can figure it out.  Oh, btw, I love this guys line that because "Some emblems are missing; I think he wanted to make it a Cuda."

Cheers for the link Rev, You wouldn't catch me going near that car with a 10ft pole........Very dodgy car indeed. It is a Deputy and it had bucket seat as well. No VIN either. Thanks for the link once again  ;D

I also love the light package group.  You even know where to put your keys in!!   ;D  My fender indicators worked when I disassembled them in 1982(?).  Will see soon if they still work 8).

I have a '73 barracuda chassis petty blue with a column
shift original 340 car
I don't have any of the running gear and the rust is
supprisingly bad in the trunk for an arizona car

still I'm thinking lightweight modified car for the street
would be fun

anyone think this car is worth restoring?                                                                         "the car would stock on the outside but run like stink on the open road"

I found out with the help of stwheels that my came with Buckets the option C55 was covered by the screw and could not be read clearly, also H6B5 is Blue Bucket seat interior I knew it was Blue just didn't know what the H6 meant...........So I will be changing to Buckets and also getting a Console put in. Kinda dissapointed because I though I had a rare R/T.........Hey what I am saying there all rare!  ;D ;D At least now I can DRIVE it a little better  ;) and Enjoy the 440 with some Slap-Stick action......... 8)

Thats one of the 9.6% Challenger's that was column

I thought options were listed as percentages, not things that were standard equipment. Where did you find the info from?

Not sure who but he knew a lot......lost his email but he gave me the "known" numbers of all Challengers with column and I did the maths for the R/T 440's ;)
I have since found out that my Challenger was a factory era and will be changing to Bucket seat Console shift, matching trans and engine and body, it says Bucket seat interior so I'll have Bucket seat interior  8)

Are your talking about my Challenger?????  ??? I hope not because thats not very polite, calling my Challenger a "clone" It is all matching numbers Engine, Trans, I know for sure it is Buckets and I can see that is not upside down LOL  ;D It has the interior code stating Blue Bucket seat interior C55 is the code which is Buckets and the interior code is H6B5 High price class Blue Bucket Seat Vinyl.
Somewhere down the line someone changed it from Bucket seat column to Bench seat column which makes all the sence in the world...........Thats where my build sheet is, in the original Bucket seats  ;)
Everything else checks out D32 HD727, E86 440-hp Magnum.
It came to New Zealand in 1971 so I hardly think that any "Mods" would have been made to engine or trans in that period of time.  8)
