:lol2: Nope, you and Japan have more sheep than us. When you can't reply with a good holsum answer, fling a sheep joke their way. You Ockers are all the same. :icon16:  So, what's the plans with the 440? Trans?  :dunno:

Hi Blokes,

I'm Ed. I live in Melbourne and have recently scored myself a driving, but not roadworthy or registered, '73 Cuda with a 340/727 combo & a/c. I must say that restoring a Cuda is going to be 10 times harder than doing a Mustang like most of my mates - but the results will be worth it.

Thanks for the contacts list. So far I have used Dodge City, Valiance, Jim (Dodge & Plymouth Parts) & Ebay.

My opinion on each:
Dodge City - "No, you can't get those" - means we don't have one so you can't have one. They're quite pricey if they do have it - $1800 for a dash pad. :22yikes:
Valiance - good guys but you sort of have to push them...
Jim - err... still waiting for a return phone call.
Ebay - what a mixed bag - professionals and complete dicks! Shipping costs are where most profits are made - negotiate with the seller before the end of the auction.

I'm interested in what sort of parts you guys have taken from the local Chrysler products and used on your Cuda/Challenger?
I recently visited Valiance with my Cuda blower switch in hand. After some coaxing they pulled out a few used heater control units from a few local Chryslers. A unit from a CL/CM had the same numbers on it but the bracket was different. No big deal, I pulled the two apart and made one good one - you'd never pick it!

:nzflag: We need to get the moderators to get us an Aussie flag... but this will do for now.

I needed some replacement lower control arms and thought the local Charger/Valiant ones would work as they looked identical but once you got them side by side the dimensions were very different.  You'll be able to get some parts off locally sold Dodges (Phoenix etc) that will be the same (I needed leaf spring mounting plates for the 8.74 diff I swapped in - drums/brakes, bushes, engine stuff should all be pretty close) but I've gotten most stuff off the resellers or ebay.

Here is an Aussie flag for you guys. I've posted it before and tried to hint to the mods but no luck.
Maybe you can try and post a thread down in the suggestions, scratch that, I'll do it on your behalf.

There is enough of you guys now to definitely justify having your own flag.
There are only 6 or 7 Kiwis on board, 4 of which come in once every year. lol
