The winter Classic is at the Ohio State fair grounds in Columbus, OH. 8 AM to 4:30 FEB 24th. I think the doors open at 9AM to the building. There is also plenty of swaps outside. Usually cars 4 sale. This has always been a great meet to pick up parts reasonable in most cases.

PG - do you still have my cell #? You could call when you get there and we could meet up.

I'd like to meet up either right before the show or soon after it starts.  Anyone have an idea of a good meeting point?  MCG magazine booth etc. ?

OK,

9:30 - 10:00 around the inside of the entrance or the MCG booth ( for obvious reasons ).  I'll kinda go between the 2 if anyone wants to show up.  I'll try to have my CC.Com shirt on where it can be seen.

I wont make it till between 11 and 12, like I said before I am in no rush...only need a couple items, all of which are common and out of them the only item I NEED is a lifter.  I will be probably be wearing my CC shirt, but you might not see it because I will most likely have a jacket over it. If I see any CC shirts, Ill make sure to say hello.

Didnt see any CC shirts down there. Did anyone else think the show was as horrible as I did? I didnt find one item that I needed (at least at a fair price). Some of those people haul complete junk in and ask NOS prices for it. The only vendors that were of any good were Mancini and maybe one or two little booths.  I will no longer go to 'swap meet only' events....what a waste of d**n time. One more thing, WHY THE HELL DONT THE SELLERS TAKE SHOWERS OR BRUSH THEIR TEETH?? I swear a full 50% of the people their looked and smelled like they bathed in sh!t before the show. Sorry to vent so much, but I just wasted a saturday. :stomp:

So I've been addicted to Mopars most of my life.  KillerMopar,  did you just suddenly notice this fact about 50% of the Mopar people?  You must not have been to alot of Mopar events.   Some of those guys give you the best prices though.

I know there are always people that are pigs, but it really did seem that there were an unusual amount of them at this show :eek4: Maybe I got unlucky  :dunno: I have been to quite a few mopar events....Every year I go to the Chrysler classic at national trail, the Mopar Nats, and the Chrysler classic at norwalk. I also usually attend at least one or two smaller shows like the winter classic, mid-ohio, or any of the other smaller Ohio shows. In all of my years and all of these shows, none have smelled this bad. I have also seen some ridiculous prices, but usually enough decent prices to counteract them. However at this show there were hardly any deals and it just seemed that the sellers were taking advantage of the fact that some of the people needed parts for the summer and are force to severly overpay. Anyone that does eBay or keeps tabs on what is available would have been disgusted.
