Hey if you're going to use Taz as a mascot maybe you could use an RT stripe as a tornado for when he gets the spin on.

I for one believe Taz belongs to the Duster crowd.  I've seen way too many Dusters nickmamed "Taz".  I remember ( maybe incorrectly )  advertising using Taz.

Here's a little info I got on a Google search talking about Taz and the Duster, from  however when they introduced the Duster, http://www.groupsrv.com/hobby/about378959.html :

" ..... however when they introduced the Duster, they wanted to
use the Tazmanian devil aka Taz for the "Duster swirl". Here a quote from a
old article of Collectible Automobile of April 1999 issue about the 1970-76
Plymouth Duster,".....they wanted to use it directly but couldn't get the
rights from Warner Bros. They wanted maybe 10 times as much money (as they
charged to use the Road Runner name) because the Road Runner name had
undervalued by Warner. So we did our own devil..."

What about something like the AC/DC style lighting bolt? Any cars have that?  :ylsuper:
Think wild weather? Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, obviously not Tornadoes aka Taz/Twister/Duster. :icon16:

I've been sitting back watching this thread. There are many great ideas, from people. I liked the Mongoose, but the general public won't get it. Taz is cool but I agree about the associating him with the Duster. I thought this thread started out as a mascot for the new Challenger. So I was thinking about the comments and ideas on here and :thinkerg: Dodge needs a marketing and advertising strategy to make it work, So if they like my idea and use it , all I want is a new Chally. First of all I will always associate the Challenger with the Scat Pack Bee. I liked the idea with the Bee with boxing gloves but you have to make it work. The Bee never had a name. I think his name should be "Scatter". So when all the other brand cars see the "Challenger" they " Scatter".  Have the Bee punching the Mustangs , Camaros, etc out of the way. So Dodge if your listening where's my new Chally.

Good idea!

How about the line separating the R/T as a lightning bolt?  R and T in AC/DC style letters?

I do like the R/T Tornado.  That was cool!

Jackie, you didnt mention any color

The more I think about this, the more I think that the challenger doesnt need any slogan, furry character, or animal to represent itself.

Its bad-@$$ the way it is.   :burnout: :smokin:
