I've been sitting back watching this thread. There are many great ideas, from people. I liked the Mongoose, but the general public won't get it. Taz is cool but I agree about the associating him with the Duster. I thought this thread started out as a mascot for the new Challenger. So I was thinking about the comments and ideas on here and :thinkerg: Dodge needs a marketing and advertising strategy to make it work, So if they like my idea and use it , all I want is a new Chally. First of all I will always associate the Challenger with the Scat Pack Bee. I liked the idea with the Bee with boxing gloves but you have to make it work. The Bee never had a name. I think his name should be "Scatter". So when all the other brand cars see the "Challenger" they " Scatter".  Have the Bee punching the Mustangs , Camaros, etc out of the way. So Dodge if your listening where's my new Chally.

Awesome idea!     The Scat Pack Bee has been associated with Mopar for over 35 years.  Everyone knows he's a Dodge dude.  Anyone good with photoshop can make some great mascot samples using "Scatter" the bee.  Lots of possibilities with this idea.  71ChallengeHer, you didn't use ALL of your enormous Einstein brain on this one did you?  Hope you saved some brain cells to help us pick on MEK.......     :poopoke:    :roflsmiley:   :roflsmiley:   :smilielol:  :smilielol:      :cooldancing:

How about sticking the Mongoose (with the rat's bloodshot eyes) in the Ed Roth Challenger and giving him a lance as mentioned earlier in this thread, and on the end of the lance you would see the Mopar Pentastar....

Do we have anyone creative enough with photoshop to try this?  Would it work?  Just a thought........

Just while were on the topic of mascots/Challenger sybols maybe ideas form this sled might be of use?  :dunno:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Okay so we will add the Scat Pack Bee to the list of coveted title of Challenger Mascot.

A) Mongoose (NZ's rendition)
B) Mongoose (other rendition)
C) Taz (with R/T whirlwind and other models stangs, cougars, firebirds, etc. flying around in the whirlwind)
maybe we can have our friend the Cuda chasing them too trying to bite them on the butt
D) Taz (in place of the rat in a ed roth like rendition)
E) Scat Pack Bee wearing boxing gloves

    Have I missed anything ???

E) Scat Pack Bee (farting out cudas)
F) Scat Pack Bee (with nothing coming out of his butt)

    Have I missed anything ???

The Scat Pack Bee with boxing gloves. And what is the deal with the competition between Cuda and Challenger or any Mopar for that matter. The Challenger's competition was Camaro, Mustangs, Firebirds and Trans Ams. I've owned Cudas and Challengers and don't think one is better than the other. It just happens to be which one you prefer. It takes a Mopar to Catch a Mopar. :stirpot:

Personally, I meant no offense to any of our prestigious and ever so humble Cuda owners. I am working with a rather limited amount of brain cells here and I was grabbing for any animal/mascot that I could come up with.

I will have to agree with you on that lil guy he never gives up. He is like the Black Knight in Monty Python's "Search for the Holy Grail". He has been cut down so far that he is just a head sitting on the ground and still has enough fight left in him to threaten his opponent with biting.

I disagree, the Scat Pack Bee is Dodge all the way. Nothing can replace that little guy.
