I'd keep looking IMHO. I've bought a couple of rusty cars before and learned. If you've got the money to fix them then you've got the money to buy something better unless you can do all the metal work yourself. The car doesn't have much going for it. Fenders are shot, quarters need major work. It's unlikely the condition of the car will improve as it gets stripped. I would guess every panel including floors and roof need work. You're going to spend $10K plus just to get the body done. For $16-18K you should be able to get a Cuda with a much better body that has alot more going for it.
