I haven't had a chance to go and look at it (going to on Friday or Saturday), but frame is supposed to be solid. The picture of the underside was just one he had, and was more related to the fact that the shocks and tires are needed to be replaced to pass inspection. Also the trunk is supposed to be solid as well. Roof wise I saw the bubbling, and had an e-mail to ask how wide spread that is, or if it is mainly in the location of the picture. So if their is rot only in body area, is it a good car to use as a project? Just rip off panels and have them fixed or replaced? Should I go 5K? I figure I am bondo free since car is still wearing original paint, will still check. If the underside of the car (floor, trunk, and framerails) is rust free with just a little surface rust here and there, would this be a good project to fix up if the price is right? Car supposedly starts and runs well, just may be rough on the outside.
Car was originally from Indiana, possible the body rust is due to salt during the winter?
