Desoto 341 Hemi engine in 1973 Challenger

Do you mean a 331  And not that I've ever heard of.

It can be done , & it has been done , more then one member has an old hemi in an E body
BUT I do not recommend it firstly the 392 & 354 Chrysler engines are the Only hemis that parts are easy to get & the amount of work / problems to overcome makes it not worth doing IMO do a 440 stroker & you will have more power for less $$$

Chryco is right, the 341 would be expensive to build, and performance parts for it are expensive. The best source for parts would be at www.hothemiheads.com and the owner Bob Walker is always willing to talk and has lots of good advice about the old hemis.
