Mopar performance sells over the counter 340 resto blocks for the resto crowd. :burnout:

Yeah but not from that era, they don't make them any more and the debate is still open on just how good these new blocks are. Still think you should do the right thing and sell which ever engine you decide not to use. Waste.

340 will be easier to move when you have to vacuum under  it.

Since you think 340s are overrated, I'll gladly take it off your hands, free of charge even!

If you couldn't tell, I wanna replace the 273 in my Barracuda with something a little bigger.

I bet you could find hundreds of 318's for less than 100 bucks looking around.  Stroke it and tell everyone it's a 273...

Sorry Dude, I never sell anything.

As for the replacement blocks they are way better than the original. Thicker webbing, more meat on the main saddles, thicker walls. I'd actually run one of them but I've got a few 340's and 440's as back up motors already bought and paid for.

True, but if I'm gonna go to the work of swapping engines, I wanna go a bit bigger than a 318.

I have no real experience with engine building, I have a few friends who do.  They have stated time and again that they wish they had put their money in a 440 vice a 318/360.  Myself I like the idea of a stroked 440.
