Oil
« on: February 24, 2007 - 07:10:27 AM »
I noticed last night that my truck I just got is about due for an oil change.  It's a 98 Ram with a 5.9 L gas engine with 61,000 miles.  I am thinking about synthetic oil.  Is this a good idea on this engine or not?

I'm not sure about that particular engine but at 61,000 your engine is past its...break in stage :grinyes:  It probably wouldn't hurt to put synthetic in it
