I noticed last night that my truck I just got is about due for an oil change. It's a 98 Ram with a 5.9 L gas engine with 61,000 miles. I am thinking about synthetic oil. Is this a good idea on this engine or not?

I'm not sure about that particular engine but at 61,000 your engine is past its...break in stage
It probably wouldn't hurt to put synthetic in it
