Springtime a coming............
« on: February 24, 2007 - 10:20:40 AM »
So naturally most men's thought's start to drift toward fishing, because we always got our minds on.............yeh, cars, and specifically Mopars.  :roflsmiley: But probably next overall is the manly pastime of fishing, a very worthwhile way to waste time, but it is fun, relaxing, and another hobby that includes drinking beer   I have a couple pics that may put you into the mood of "hooking" one for a big fight. Take a look, pics taken up in Canada, they were sent to me by my one son.

Good one Carl, I would imagine you haven't let one get away yet.

What the heck is that second picture? Is that another northern trying to take the one he caught or is that a different one? Has me wanting to get out there too. Thanks Jim. My wife thanks you too.  :2thumbs:

Wow, I thank you, it's always nice to be appreciated by the ladies.  :roflsmiley:  :roflsmiley:

BTW, I wasn't too specific with the inital post, that is not my son in the pic, just didn't want anyone to get the wrong impression.

Cool pics! Those fish are real monsters, though - wouldn't want to be swimming in the same waters as they are, that's for sure...

Those are two very cool photos, WSM!  That's crazy how the huge pike grabbed the other northern pike and he managed to pull both in. :faint:  The biggest fish I've ever landed was a salmon in Peshtigo, WI...talk about big fish, but we saw guys pulling in larger ones the entire day. :eek2:  It's crazy to know there's fish around the same size as the one in the photos at the lakes I swim in.  I've seen some extremely large northerns by me, but never could get them to take my bait. :-\
