Hood emblems
« on: February 25, 2007 - 05:16:02 PM »
I am trying to put the "Cuda 340" emblems on my rallye hood.  First of all I bought repro ones and I am not happy with them.  They seem to be a bit flimsy, but sinse I have them I'll see how they go.  When I put them through the holes on the hood I can thread a nut onto the front pin, but I cant on the rear pin.  Where the rear pin comes through there is no easy access to get a nut on it.  Has anybody had this problem because it just seems odd because its a factory hood.  Does the scoop insert need to come out?

They shouldnt need nuts. They should have a tiny insert you install in the hood holes and the emblems push right in :2thumbs:
