carbon fiber pistol grip inserts
« on: February 26, 2007 - 10:05:49 PM »
Does anyone know where we can get carbon fiber inserts for our pistol grip shifter handle?  I've see a couple of super-high dollar custom 'Cudas with these inserts.  I need to replace the plastic wood grain stockers on my 4-speed gear grabber and would really like to try a set of carbon fiber ones but I can't find anyone who sells them.

Ideas?

Thanks,

I called the Texas # and they're out of stock.  I then called the Pacific # and that guy said he was expecting two sets to arrive any day now.  On set is spoken for and I put dibbs on the other.  And the design has changed from the units that are shown on their web page.  The web page units are built up completely from carbon fiber mesh.  The units that they make now are a plastic plug with a carbon fiber mesh overlay and sealed with some type of clear coat.  I'll dpic to this thread when I receive them and get them installed.
