Winter Blues
« on: February 27, 2007 - 08:09:09 AM »
Anyone else tired of winter already? Even though we have had a VERY mild winter I'm ready for spring and summer. We just had a 3 day snow storm over the weekend and are gearing up fo another on Wen-Fri. There is the probably biggest show, around here, comming the end of March. The wife and I have talked about putting a car in it. The show is a Rod & Custom show but they do get a lot of muscle cars. It would surelly get us in spring mode though.

Same here.  It's going to be around -10C (below freezing) :violin: for a bunch more days and the snow pile is still so big at the sides of the driveway I can't see cars coming down the street when I back out and it's March this week!  Rant over.

Sick of winter - you betcha. It's almost March and the interior of my car is still in the basement(I need a heated garage). Sure Nov, Dec, and even Jan were kinda mild here but enough with the snow and cold already.  :stomp:

Though It's been snowing the last week, this has been THE "weakest" New England winter that I can remember.
So I an't gonna say anything bad  :grinno: ................ Things could change  :bricks1:

Plus, the only season I look forward to is fall anyways  :jumping:

:iagree: My most favorite time of year is Autumn, in my part of the world that is mid September through late October, cool but mild, beautiful foilage on the hardwood trees. But so unfortunate what follows is just what we have experienced, crappy winter weather. And I'm totally sick of winter weather, and here too we really have not had a bad winter over all, just the last two-three weeks. Aw, but spring is near, supposed to be near 50* tomorrow and Thursday.  :2thumbs:

I'm sick of it too, want to get the panther out. but with salt still out on the streets I have had to put that on hold.  Bad thing is, it is really nice here in Missouri some days, then it turns off cold and snowing or ice.

Fall is pretty and everything but I know old man winter is right behind it.  I like spring when everything is new and all the trees blossom . . . very cool!   Plus summer is right behind that!   :grinyes:

Enough is enough already! I kinda have an inkling of what the old-timers referred to as " cabin fever ". Wanna get out so bad to cruise around, gotta wait at least 6 weeks for that yet. If I really want to get myself in a blue mood, I go out and start up the Challenger or Charger and listen to 'em run. Boy, that's depressing...
