    Color under dashpad?

    My car was repainted in the past and they repainted everything blue including the dash frame. I want to put it back like it was originally, anyone know a paint code for the black color? I have gotten some feedback from another board that under the dashpad was the cars paint color, is this correct? Burning up a whole lotta wire wheels to get all the blue off everything  :pullinghair: Thanks for any help,

     My car is FE5 but under the dash pad and the dash frame are a funny tan colored paint. it sure looks original but I'm not sure if it is.

    From the factory all they painted was the glovebox opening and the ash tray opening, the rest was bare metal...at least I think it was considering that was the only part to rust on mine :eek4:  I media blasted my dash and sprayed the whole dash with Krylon semi-flat black.  Looks fantastic!  Can't say enough good about Krylon, dries fast, goes on nice, looks good, and its cheap!  I got my digital camera working yesterday night so I'll post some pics later today if I get around to it :thumbsup:http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/engineeringDrawings/ei006.jpg Shows where the paint was put on
