First with the bad. The passenger front frame rail is shoved towards the drivers side enough that the K member buckled. Both inner fenders have to be replaced, the passenger side is gone. The radiator support is gone and the hood is magled. The seats are missing, and the glass is all broken out. The good news is all of the window trim is there, there is very little rust in the car. Only a couple of patches in the floors and a trunk floor are in need of replacing. The quarters are fine and the window channels appear to be good. All of the numbers are present and match except for the radiator support.
The car's vin is JH23H0E 1970 340 Challenger, paint code FC7 (PLUM CRAZY), white interior and bumble bee stripe, A66 340 performance package, D21 4 speed, AM radio, bucket seats, dual exhaust with chrome tips. The car does not have a lot of options but I don't mind, I like it that way. I have a ton of parts for this project from my collecting over the years. This will be my first restoration that requires structural work, which I am looking forward to. I plan on restoring the car back to original for the most part, I might install power disk brakes, but I might also leave the stock manual drum brakes, we'll see, I will repaint it the orignal plum crazy with white stripe and white interior and install a new buldge hood (as it came with the A66 package). Hopefully when I finish the car I will be able to keep it. That would be a nice change.
